Get back to the opening page. The OCTAVIA COMBI iV’s standard infotainment system is the freestanding 10" Columbus system, which can be touch, gesture or voice controlled. The standard radio is accompanied by navigation, a connection to your phone via the SmartLink interface (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto a MirrorLink™), online ŠKODA Connect services, and the possibility of playing online radio stations and streaming services. You can zoom in on a map or control the volume with the touch-slider.
The new-generation ŠKODA Connect online services deliver online navigation and information services, the option to control selected vehicle functions remotely with a smartphone, and remote interaction with the ŠKODA service centre of your choice. eCall, which automatically contacts emergency services in an accident, is integral to this feature.
Remote Access, another ŠKODA Connect feature, provides a new way of controlling your car by interconnecting it with your smartphone. In addition, the OCTAVIA COMBI iV has been given additional specific services, such as Remote Air-Conditioning for remote pre-trip air-conditioning or Remote Charging for remote charging control and displaying the current charge status.
The new OCTAVIA is the first ŠKODA allowing you to purchase features online that previously had to be ordered before the car was built. The infotainment system features the Shop, where you can easily enhance your car, for example, with additional ambient lighting colours, new driver-assistance systems and infotainment features. In addition, you can top up your data packages, extend your ŠKODA Connect online services, and download apps.
With the Laura voice assistant, your car will be hanging on your every word to do your bidding. Curt orders are consigned to the past. Now you can control the car with Laura, an assistant who understands normal speech. Laura will help you to control the navigation, media, infotainment, air-conditiong and text messages, while letting you concentrate better on the driving.
The all-new OCTAVIA is equipped as standard with two modern backlit front USB-C ports for data transmission and recharging. Three additional USB-C ports can optionally be added – one by the rear-view mirror to charge a camera and two for rear passengers to charge their devices.
